Promoting Sustainable Standards & Transparency
Munich, July 12, 2023 – The ESG International Standardisation Association e.V. (ESG ISA) has been officially registered at the Munich District Court. The association aims to establish unified, objective, and internationally recognised ESG standards.
ESG, which stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance, has become increasingly important for organisations across the globe.
In particular, ESG ISA aims to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in meeting ESG requirements and establishing dedicated ESG departments. By providing guidance and support, the association aims to facilitate the integration of sustainable practices into these organisations’ operations.
Furthermore, the association seeks to collaborate with established large corporations, in addition to SMEs, to develop an ESG framework that not only fits all organizations, regardless of their size or scale, but also fosters comparability between companies of all sizes.
Additionally, ESG ISA is working with experts to develop a fully transparent rating system. The association aims to create a rating methodology that is easily understandable and traceable. The rating will enable companies to perform a free self-assessment, and if desired, the provided information can be audited and certified. The ultimate goal is to promote transparency, traceability, and comparability in the market.
ESG ISA has already welcomed its first new members and extends an invitation to all companies and individuals interested in promoting sustainability and adhering to ESG principles to join the association.
